Each week I have decided to track my journey of becoming healthy. It is my belief that this will help keep me on the right path. Week by week I am trying to change my lifestyle and not just my body. Following Drew's advice from Fit2Fat2Fit, I have started my journey last Saturday and completed the first week. Drew suggested to start by changing eating habits and not really focusing on workouts just yet. Cleansing my insides was the focus. I have managed to cut soda out of my diet completely. Friday, November 4th was the last sip and an end to what seemed like a soda addiction. I went from 3-4 cans of soda each day, to no soda. I was very proud of myself for this. In the meantime I have lost 4 pounds this week and a total of 8 since my heaviest weigh in. Though I have not set a goal weight just yet, I will continue to track my weight loss each week. I originally decided to weigh in each Wednesday and Sunday. I think I am going to change that this week and weigh in today (Sunday), Tuesday, and Thursday. I find myself wanting to see results sooner than later, which I think is natural. I do not apply this thinking though to my overall weight loss. I realize it will be a slow process if I do it the right way.
Hopefully next week I can share more positive results with you. Those that are going through the same process of trying to become more healthy, I applaud you, support you, and wish you the best.
To my partner Ryan, keep working hard man. The talks and comparisons help keep me on track. I Look forward to hearing how things went this week.
